About us

The Youth Empowerment Alliance for Health was founded in 2015 by Robert Suzuki, Jr., Chelsea Yangirelfil, Mary Joyce Masongsong, Hannah Alcordo, Gemma Somol, and Kiana Sablan. A year before, the founders were part of a youth organization that promoted positive youth development. The founders were passionate about helping the youth and promoting health to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Tying it together, they created this non-profit organization that aims to promote healthy living to the youth of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
HISTORY
The mission of the Youth Empowerment Alliance for Health is to provide opportunities for the youth of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands to develop character, citizenship and leadership skills through community service, outreach, and community projects.
